The Landes coast or Silver Coast constitues the littoral of Aquitaine, stretching from the Gironde estuary to the Adour river, along the Landes of Gascogne, to the Basque Country. It is a straight shore, sandy, lapped by the ocean that breaks its powerful waves for the surfers happiness.
The coast is bordered with high dunes (highest in Europa), fixed by a forest of maritime pines (Landes Forest) and providind a land for many lakes and ponds.
