St Emilion | The Medieval City

Located in the north-east, 25 miles away from Bordeaux, between Libourne and Castillon-la-Bataille, Saint-Emilion towers up proudly on the northern vineyards of the Dordogne valley.

An absolute open-air museum, the city is pure amazement. Its special troglodyte feature is for sure the most surprising: a monolithic church, unique in the world, more than 170 acres of underground galleries, dug into the limestone.

Renowned and appreciated in the whole world, the wines of Saint-Emilion are not only great wines. They have been a real strength for centuries.

During this wine tour, you will taste world widely known wines, and moreover you will be filled with astonishment by the beauty of the medieval village listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
