Departing from Biarritz, you will experience the real Basque Country from the interior : toward an exceptionnal panorama and remarkable culinary tradition.

First of all, you will discover the "Rhune", the sacred mountain of the Basque Country which offers one of the most beautiful views that can be pictured. You will adventurously reach the summit of the "Rhune mountain" thanks to an authentic rack-railway, built in 1924. At the summit, spend some time to roam and live on spanish time in the famous ventas, take the opportunity to meet the local fauna and flora and catch a glimpse of fauve vultures : a total change of scene.
If the weather doesn’t permit you to take the train of the Rhune,  you will pass through the charming village of Saint Jean Pied de Port and keep on driving along the sloping vineyards "AOC Irouléguy", manufacturing home-made basque cheese and traditionnal cidery...

Going downhill, lunchtime will be devoted to the discovery of local gastronomy in a quiet and relaxing place.

Then, finishing the daytour, we will pass through the little village of Espelette, well-known ofr its "pepper" that you could taste during the visit of the house of the pepper in Espelette.
